Membaca Al-Qur’an (bagian 2)

Salam

Al-Qur’an di turunkan

Berdo’a, Membaca dan memaknai

Terlepas dengan adanya kemampuan untuk mensucikan diri, kita dianjurkan agar senantiasa berdoa sebelum membaca Al Quran

Sebagaimana Firman Allah SWT, pada Surat Tha Ha ayat 114

Maha Nyata Allah atas segala Kuasa-Nya

Elderly Kiyai vs Young Murshid

A true story, There was a dialogue between a young Murshid with a 75 years old Kyai, whose son had become a disciple of the Young Murshid.

Kiayi                               : Young man, I heard you taught Haqiqa to my son.

Young Murshid          : Yes, it is true kiayi.

Kiayi                               : Please explain to me, nowadays, my son is always talking about Haqiqa only.

Young Murshid          : What should I explain to you, kiyai?

Kiayi                               : I’ve studied in many great Pondok Pesantren (Islamic boarding school), but until now I have not been able to finish Shariah that I learned. You better contemplate before teaching to my son about Haqiqa. I am an old man, I’ve known so many knowledge in Shariah, and yet still to be completed. So, how can you talk about Haqiqa to my son, in fact he is even older than you? You can talk about it in the future once you graduate to learn Shariah. It is still far away young man. So tell me, what do you know about Haqiqa by now?

Young Murshid          : Indeed kiayi, I am younger than your son. Apparently your learning method and mine are completely different. We are also different in what we are looking for

Kiayi                               : what do you mean, young man? The teachings of Islam has two methods only, they are with the Quran and Al Hadith. While the rest is just frills in my thought

Young murshid          : May I ask, Kiyai?

Kiayi                               : Please, as long as it makes sense.

Young Murshid          : Indeed Kiyai. It shall make sense. Islam, repeat, Islam is a scientific and reasonable. Not mandatory to a religion for those who have no understanding (sense). As We begin, there must be harmony between the verse we studied and common sense. Have you proved Surah An Nuur verse 35?

Kiayi                               : Not yet (Kiai replied with a doubt)

Young Murshid          : Have you proved Surah Ar Rahman verse 17,Kiayi?

Kiayi                               : Not yet (kiayi replied softly and somewhat stumbling)

Young murshid          : Our method is different. Kiayi seeks heaven while I am seeking the creator of heaven or I call the “Inna lillahi wa ina lillahi raji’un” – Origin (from) Allah return (to) Allah. Why shall I put words of ‘from’ and ‘to’ in brackets? That just because of Allah is Most great, Most Covers (Allah covers all), Allah is “everywhere”. If I use the word “from” and “to” will make Allah encompasses being “tied” with in one direction and place, so what is eternal to you, Kiyai?

Kiayi                               : Allah, the eternal one and only

Young Murshid          : Correct. None of His creation is eternal. Heaven as well, it is impermanent. Does not this make you want to rethink, Kiyai?

Kiayi was silent, did not answer.

Young Murshid          : Adam Alaihi Salam, is nobler than us, even failed to compete with the devil and expelled from heaven because the devil is more slippery. Kiayi, who are you if we can compare you to the prophet Adam AS? Prophet Adam AS expelled from heaven but the devil is still in heaven until today. Devil asks Allah to respite devil and Allah granted it. Please read surah Al A’raf verses 14-17, Al Hijr verse 36-38, Shad verse 79-80, Kiyai. So if you are looking for a haven means Kiyai will reborn and return to earth because you want to see rivers that flowing underneath the green mountains, still expecting a beautiful angel. Kiayi still crave lust and yet escape from the cycle of birth and death. How could you sought Allah? You don’t even know how Allah SWT looks, it is because you don’t understand what is Marifatullah, so does the essence. You only understand and “follow” some tales you received since your childhood, and you stored them. You even believed those tales until now without being processed, reviewed and aligned towards your increasing knowledge, intelligence and age. Hopefully Kiayi understands what Allah says in surah Al-Waqi’ah verse 7 to 10. I do not want to fall into the right group among that three groups, because I do not want to associate with low desire again by still expecting gratification of lust in “Heaven”, with beautiful angels. Be advised, there is another group and it is nobler, It is to those who are genuine and sincere, the ones who worship Allah with profitless expectation. You are 75 years old, aren’t you Kiyai?

Kiayi did not answer.

Young Murshid          : Seems like you earned the bonus about 10 years above Indonesian average age,65 years, on my calculation.  May I ask you again, Kiayi?

Kiayi                               : Yes, please !

Young Murshid          : I taught my Murid (students) about Shariah from below and simultaneously also teaches the essence/Haqiqa from top to down. So it meets in the middle. This method will make them understand the Essence (dzat) and objects, as well as other things that are actually the same in discussion with different languages/meaning in Shariah towards Haqiqa. Shariah plus Tariqa also will be quickly completed because the existing alignment of understanding of what was discussed. Have you proven Surah Ath Tariq verse 6, the star which (the light) penetrates, and as well as Surah Ash Shaafaat verse 6, which says stars in the sky near by

Kiayi                               : not yet (he is losing his confidence)

Young Murshid         :Shariah means the rules, isn’t it? Let’s observe an analogy now, It is like cooking in the kitchen. If Shariah is like collecting the term and rules, then you just collect what shall we have for cooking, It requires stove fire, pans, ingredients, etc. Next step is Tariqa. Tariqa is a trip and method, you shall go to market for shopping, cleaning and cutting ingredients to be cooked, flatten spices etc, it is all about whatever needs to be done as a way to cook healthy and right. Then Haqiqa, all the basic ingredients, and spices be cooked and they are mixed, met, united in a skillet or saucepan. Then Marifa, once cooking is done then you get to know the taste, you get to know Marifa, you will say “Oh apparently it feels like tamarind vegetable “. We shall leave sense behind at this level. It was like Rasulullah SAW left Jibril (gabriel) AS behind. Only perfect human can reach this level.                     Up to this moment, Murid already knew and understood what they worship for, Who is Allah SWT, thus the creed is legitimate and not concoct nor just guessing. It is not a perjury like what you have said this long. Have you thought that Rasulullah SAW could not distinguish the word of “witness” and “believe”. Rasulullah SAW’s intelligence is higher than common humans like-ours. Nowadays, you still not graduated Shariah yet in your old age, It is very much endless and time consuming. You still busy collecting requirements (of cooking), when will begin to “cook”, Kiyai? When will you start performing Marifa to Haqiqa? Why you do not choose the short path / method but many benefits and arrived quickly? Will you be able to prove all verses that I have mentioned before you die? Ask your son regarding my supposition, it is “Do you think Chief of Police would be willing to accept the request of a corruptor prisoner to meet him/her in custody?” Of course, the prisoners will only be the butt of other “poor prisoner” and “rogue elements”. Moreover, Allah, the Most High, He certainly does not want to see who has never met and knew HIM before, especially if that person likes despised others despite his own understanding and who still just guess and conjecture without proof. What will Allah ask to creatures like that? What will Allah ask to that creatures on “meeting with allah”? Obviously, it will not understand. What will Allah ask on the Tursina hill? What about Kahfi cave or Hira cave? What about His heaven and hell? Monotype and clichés answers will be given, mostly like ‘somebody said’, ‘I heard this tale since I was a little kid. It is like ‘this, like ‘that’. Everything just around somebody said. I am personally do not want to guess like that, Islam is a religion of sense and science. It is late for you, Kiayi. Young Murshid continued steadily.

The atmosphere became silent, stiff and cold for a while, Kiyai pensive look to the floor. He is so lucky, his son came in and took young Murshid to be introduced to a close relatives, who is himself

May Allah bless us. Amen
